Help Save Children of Gaza - Ceasefire Urgent Response
op Australian Committee For UNICEF LimitedA ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has been announced. Once established, it will bring much-needed hope to the children of Gaza, who have endured two years of war, crisis, starvation and suffering.
UNICEF and partners are prepared to rapidly scale up and deploy response efforts as soon as an increase in aid is allowed to enter Gaza.
UNICEF and our partners are ready to act immediately. With more than 1,300 trucks stationed around the Gaza Strip, we’re prepared to deliver critical supplies as soon as aid can safely enter.
These supplies include:
• Therapeutic food to treat malnutrition
• Tents and tarps to provide emergency shelter
• Fuel and equipment for clean water and sanitation
• Medical supplies and vaccines to protect children’s health
• Education materials to help children return to learning
But right now, funding is critically short, and we urgently need your help to deliver this lifesaving aid at scale.
• $90 could provide up to 90,000 litres of clean drinking water.
• $160 could help provide 304 sachets of lifesaving therapeutic food.
• $311 could help education supplies to keep 40 students learning.
• $530 could provide lifesaving food and treatment that could help eight children with malnutrition.
