Each backpack is filled with healthy snacks, hydration, and essential supplies for youth ages 13 to 24 who lack consistent access to basic needs.
The Problem:
1 in 5 youth lack food security. Los Angeles has one of the highest concentrations of youth homelessness in the country, with more than 4,000 young people facing homelessness and consistent unmet basic needs.
The Solution:
For just $25, one dignity kit provides food, hygiene supplies, and daily essentials to a young person experiencing homelessness in LA. Each backpack costs $25 to assemble but delivers $50 in retail value through donated and discounted products, doubling every dollar given.
