Teen Health, Inc. is assembling and distributing 500 Dignity Kits to youth experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles. Each kit — a backpack filled with healthy snacks, hydration, personal care items, and essential supplies — provides immediate stability to young people who often lack consistent access to basic essentials.
These are not generic care packages. Every kit is thoughtfully curated to meet real, immediate needs and to deliver a clear message to every young person who receives one: you matter, and someone sees you.
Access, not awareness, is the core issue. 1 in 5 youth face food insecurity, and more than 3,000 young people experience homelessness in Los Angeles on any given night — often without consistent access to food, water, or hygiene supplies, even for a single day.
Each Dignity Kit costs just $25 to assemble but delivers approximately $50 in retail value through donated and discounted products — effectively doubling every dollar you give.
