When USAID unexpectedly cut off grant support, hundreds of children in Uganda were left without the food, books, and education materials they were depending on. What was once a promise of hope has now turned into a crisis—and together, we must rebuild.
Through our Kids Safe Harbor Program, PSM Charity has been a lifeline for 516 children—providing them with education, school supplies, daily meals, healthcare, and emotional support. For many of these children, this program was the only reason they stayed in school and could dream of a better future.
But today, the shelves are empty. The Books for Education project is at a standstill, classrooms are missing basic scholastics, and children who once ate daily with us now risk going hungry. The sudden withdrawal of funding has placed the very survival of this program—and the children we serve—at risk.
We cannot let this setback erase years of progress. With your support, we can rebuild what was lost and ensure no child has to give up on education or go to bed hungry because of circumstances beyond their control.
Your gift today will provide:-
Books & scholastics | restoring learning for children who have none.
Nutritious meals |so children can focus, grow, and thrive.
Uniforms & essentials | restoring dignity and belonging.
Every donation, no matter the size, is a step toward restoring hope and stability for these children.
By supporting this campaign, you are not just filling a gap left by a lost grant—you are proving to these children that the world still cares, that their dreams are worth fighting for, and that together, we can rebuild lives.
Donate now to Rebuild Lives After USAID Cuts! Help us turn a moment of loss into a new beginning.
