HARIRAJ CHARITABLE TRUST

Established in 1993 by social workers Mr. Nayanbhai Gandhi, Pushpaben Patel, Surshbhai Gohil, and Dhirubhai Vagadia, Hariraj Charitable Trust is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of economically deprived communities. With over three decades of experience, the organization works across health, education, livelihood development, natural resource management, environment, and agriculture. Our primary focus is on empowering youth from the unorganized sector, women, children, and marginalized communities by providing opportunities in education, health, skill development, and entrepreneurship.

The Trust began its journey with primary education and reproductive and child health programs and later expanded into women’s livelihood initiatives, vocational training, self-help group (SHG) formation, and skill development.

We actively engage in natural resource management and climate-resilient agriculture, supporting 3650 farmers through water management, crop diversification, and sustainable farming practices. Our team has collaborated with Gram Sanjivani Samitis in the Khambha, Dhari, and Amreli blocks and supported farmers in Jafrabad to form producer companies.

Through our Centre for Learning Assistance we trying to bridge the learning gap and help children to reach their age according learning outcomes with established learning centre. Additionally, we run a Gender Education program with adolescents (ages 13–17) that promotes gender equality and prevents violence against women and girls by challenging harmful social norms and fostering leadership and community action.

Our strength lies in our experienced team, deep community trust, and grassroots approach, enabling us to design and implement sustainable, scalable programs that create lasting social impact.
