, Women's Education and Economic Development Society

Success Update | FY 2025–26 (Up to December)

We are delighted to share the successful progress of our Women Skill Training Programs during the current fiscal year (2025–26, up to December), made possible through the generous support of our donors & CSR partners.

With the funds raised, WEEDS conducted five batches of Tailoring and Aari Embroidery skill training, benefiting women from underserved communities.

- 120 women successfully completed Aari Embroidery training
- 120 women completed Tailoring training

These programs were implemented across our two Skill Training Centers in Mangadu and Padappai. The impact has been transformative—equipping underprivileged women with practical, income-generating skills that enhance their livelihoods and promote economic independence.

In addition, we are establishing a new Women Skill Training Center in Kelamangalam Block, Krishnagiri District - a predominantly rural region surrounded by multiple villages. This center is dedicated to empowering rural women by equipping them with livelihood skills that foster self-reliance and financial independence.
