Educate Students from Low Income Families In India - Gift Education with scholarship support
by Women's Education and Economic Development SocietyWEEDS supports underprivileged students from low-income and native communities to continue their education and prevent school and college dropouts.
In the last academic year 2024–25, we supported 178 students with education scholarships, covering school/college fees and essential learning materials. In 2025–26, we have already sponsored 91 students, with many more in need of support.
Rising education costs force many students—especially from women-headed, single-parent, and extremely low-income families—to discontinue their studies and enter low-wage work. Our Education Scholarship Support Program helps bridge this gap by providing partial fee support, uniforms, books, and mentoring.
