Infrastructure/Winter

by Nova Ukraine

Ukraine’s critical infrastructure has faced significant challenges. Deliberate targeting by Russian forces has resulted in frequent and severe power disruptions, impacting both local communities and essential services.

As Ukraine approaches its second winter amidst war, many communities are preparing for the hardships of cold temperatures and regular blackouts, compounded by damaged homes and an unstable electricity and gas supply. The average winter temperatures, which can drop from 35.6°F to a frigid -4°F, are particularly concerning for the large number of displaced Ukrainians in the eastern and central regions. With the ongoing war heavily affecting the country's power grid and gas supplies, the upcoming winter is a stark reminder of the challenges faced in previous years, underscoring the urgent need for more support.

Nova Ukraine seeks to bolster smaller communities and vital infrastructure within Ukraine during these tumultuous times. By deploying small-scale power stations and distributing generators, we aim to provide communal charging points, while also supporting the operational continuity of critical infrastructure. Your contribution will help:

✅ Establish small-scale power stations: for communities to have access to a centralized power resource.
✅ Provide critical infrastructure with backup power: for medical centers, water treatment facilities, and communication towers.
✅ Cultivate community resilience: for communities to stay connected and safe during the freezing winter months.

Please consider contributing today to support this initiative and make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
