Children of Gaza Crisis

by Australian Committee For UNICEF Limited

Six months into this conflict, over 13,800 children have been killed. Without lifesaving support, which is desperately close across the border, more children are at risk as Gaza edges on the brink of famine.

Throughout this devastating conflict, hospitals, schools and homes have been destroyed, and food, water, medicine and electricity supplies are running out. Medical centres are overwhelmed, running out of supplies, and cannot treat all who are injured. The ongoing violence is taking a horrendous toll on the lives of children and their families.

Access is difficult and limited, but our teams won’t give up trying to get critical supplies to children. By donating today, you can help us be there for children and families in desperate need.

How will your donation help?

Despite the challenging humanitarian and security situation, UNICEF and partners are actively present in the Gaza Strip to provide immediate live-saving humanitarian support, including delivering medical supplies, critical Water, Hygiene, and Sanitation (WASH) facilities, water treatment essentials, and mental health and psychosocial support. UNICEF efforts also encompass closely monitoring grave child rights violations and providing child-sensitive humanitarian cash assistance.

- $50 can contribute to psychosocial support for children traumatised by the conflict.
- $90 could provide 18,000 water purification tablets, each able to create up to 5 litres of clean drinking water.
- $160 could help provide 304 sachets of lifesaving therapeutic food.
