At The ARK, we're dedicated to empowering low-income youth in South Lawndale by teaching them the foundations of entrepreneurship. Our commitment to serving the vibrant Black and Brown communities drives us to reach as many young people as possible. Currently, our pick-up services primarily serve Hispanic students from local schools within walking distance. However, nearby schools with predominantly African American students remain out of reach due to a lack of transportation.
For many parents, programs like ours are essential, and the ability to provide reliable transportation is crucial to their children's participation.
