Just last week a group of 4th graders came back in the fall after a memorable spring visit. Joshua noticed how the flower field had changed from a cover crop of fava beans. Why did this seasonal change in the fields stand out to him? Because the experience of wandering through the fava beans and taking a very up close look at them the spring before, was unforgettable.
