These children do not know a happy home, or have a safe place to play, nor do they have access to quality education, medical care, and nutrition. Instead, their lives are increasingly challenging, with the vulnerability to illiteracy, disease, and lifelong poverty.
Vulnerable to the onslaught of daily challenges, the children of Yemen are affected by war, disease, famine, and ongoing drought. The escalation of conflict in Yemen has contributed largely to many children being parentless today.
At Muslim Futures, we aim to provide care and relief to orphans, and all children in need. In Yemen, and also in Tanzania, Palestine and Pakistan. Our aim is to support the basic life necessities of the child and the wider family, support the child’s welfare, health and education, and offer financial assistance – offering the prospect of a brighter future to as many of these children as we can.
