How was your day? I was hungry and cold - this answer of stray pets won't surprise anyone in Kyiv... Kyiv Tails Charity Fund finds loving families for stray cats and dogs. We make sure the "tails" under our care are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and treated if needed. While we look for their new homes, the tails stay at temporary foster homes funded by the Fund. Our project aims to rescue over 100 abandoned cats and dogs from the Kyiv streets. Help us bring together the pets and their new owners!

What is the problem?
The number of homeless animals in Kyiv is enormous and their treatment often brutal. Beatings, poisonings, torture and murder of stray cats and dogs are cruel reality... Our project aims to rescue more than 100 abandoned cats and dogs from dangerous Kyiv streets.

How will this project solve the problem?
Kyiv Tails Charity Fund finds the loving families for stray cats and dogs. We make sure the "tails" under our care are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and have undergone treatment if needed. While we look for their new homes, the tails stay at temporary foster homes funded by the Fund. Based on our experience, with help of temporary homes the suffered animals are given enough time, attention, love and care to facilitate socialization and finding the loving permanent family.

Potential Long-Term Impact
With your support more than 100 cats and dogs will be rescued from Kyiv streets each year. Every saved animal reduces the number of souls that will be suffer in the future. As more than 10,000 offspring can be born from a pair of cats and their offspring over 5 years of uncontrolled breeding. But on the streets, in adverse and dangerous conditions, 10% survive, half of which is waiting for euthanasia in shelters later. Let's stop cruelty and increase kindness in the world together!
