There is devastating news coming out of Lebanon following a dramatic escalation of violence.
Airstrikes across multiple densely populated areas in Lebanon have left children and families killed, injured and fleeing for their lives.
Over 500,000 people, or nearly 10% of the population, including 175,000 children have been forced to flee their homes to find safety, creating a humanitarian crisis of alarming proportions.
Since October, we have supported 60,000 people, including 25,000 displaced children in Southern Lebanon.
We are ready to scale up our response, but need your support. With additional funds, we plan to:
- Distribute essential relief items, including water, toiletries, blankets, and food parcels.
- Provide cash for essentials and play materials for children.
- Upgrade shelters, improve water and sanitation facilities.
- Set up Child Protection Help Desks and run awareness sessions.
- Offer emergency education and child protection activities for children affected by school closures.
Your donation to the Lebanon Emergency appeal can be a lifeline for a child and their family. Please, give what you can today.
