Recently, we supported 107 beneficiaries, all are women-headed households (single and abondoned) and elderly single women. The impact exceeded our expectations—beneficiaries expressed deep happiness and gratitude, sharing that this support made them feel seen and cared for. Many said, “We have someone in this world who takes time to care for us and enquire about our wellbeing.” They are immensely grateful to our donors for this meaningful support.
Our Intention to Respond to a Pressing Need:
Hunger remains a pressing issue in our society, with many underprivileged families struggling to secure daily meals. This project, "No More Hunger — Fight Hunger, Gift Food provisions to widow, single and low income women" aims to provide essential food supplies to poor families,widow, single and low income women in need, ensuring they have access to basic nutrition and dignity.
Objectives:
- Alleviate Hunger: Provide monthly food provisions to 200 underprivileged families/single and low income women in our target area.
- Every 3 month theses women will receive support.
Promote Nutritional Health: Distribute balanced food kits containing essential grains, pulses, oil, and other staples to support dietary needs.
Target Beneficiaries:
- Families living below the poverty line in the suburban areas of Chennai.
- Households with single mothers, elderly individuals,widow or persons with disabilities as the primary breadwinners.
Proposed Food Kit Composition:
Rice, Wheat Flour, Pulses (Lentils/Beans), Cooking Oil, Sugar: 1 kg, Salt, Spices etc.,

Cost per Food Provision Kit: USD 20 / Rs.1,750
