The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. As the city’s main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank we have the capacity to serve families, individuals, and organizations to fight hunger. We rely solely on the generous support of our community and people like you!
In 2024, we launched our 5 year strategic plan and our MISSION: To Make Food Accessible to Everyone in Our City.

Most recently, we’ve moved to a client choice model providing Halal, Gluten Free, Lactose free and other options to our client households. And we’re under construction for our first branch location in downtown Calgary! Look for more exciting news as we #FEEDYYC.
Donating towards our #FEEDYYC supports community goals for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion offering the right food to households, and improving accessibility for individuals turning to us.
