Help Children and Families Recover After the Venezuela Earthquakes

, SAVE THE CHILDREN

Two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela on 24 June, devastating communities across Caracas and La Guaira. More than 1,400 people have lost their lives, thousands have been injured, and tens of thousands of families have been affected. Children are among those hardest hit, facing injury, displacement, trauma and disruption to their education.
Save the Children is on the ground and responding urgently. With an established presence in Venezuela since 2019 and strong local partnerships, our teams are working to reach children and families with lifesaving support.

Your donation can help provide:

Safe drinking water and hygiene kits
Emergency healthcare and nutrition support for children and mothers
Mental health and psychosocial support
Child-friendly spaces where children can feel safe and begin to recover
Family reunification services for children separated from loved ones
Learning materials and support to help children return to school

Over the next year, Save the Children aims to support 200,000 people, including 100,000 children, affected by this disaster.

These earthquakes have struck communities already facing years of economic hardship and instability. Families need urgent assistance now to meet their basic needs and begin rebuilding their lives.

Every donation will help Save the Children deliver critical support to children and families impacted by the Venezuela earthquakes.

$55 could help set up a child friendly space, giving children a safe place in the aftermath of a disaster
$135 could provide a family with emergency first aid kits, with gauze, bandages, disinfectant and other key items to treat their children’s injuries.
$360 could provide two families of five with basic food commodities for a month.

Thank you for standing with children in Venezuela and supporting families during this emergency.
