Help Children in Ukraine

, Australian Committee For UNICEF Limited

You Can Help Children in Ukraine Today.

Three years of war in Ukraine have left devastation in their wake—destroying homes, schools, hospitals, and lives. For children, the toll is unimaginable.

- Over 2.9 million children are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance
- 1 in 5 children have lost a close relative or friend
- Children near the frontline have spent up to 5,000 hours—nearly 7 months—sheltering underground
- More than 2,520 children have been killed or injured
- 3.6 million people remain displaced inside Ukraine
- Over 1,600 schools and 786 health facilities have been destroyed

The war is robbing children of their safety, education, and future. But you can help.

UNICEF is on the ground every day providing emergency aid, safe drinking water, mental health support, learning materials, and shelter to families and children across Ukraine.

Your support helps us stay and deliver.

How your donation could help:
- $10 = 10,000 litres of clean water
- $21 = 1 school kit for a displaced child
- $196 = 4 emergency aid medical kits to treat severe injuries
- $340 = Learning supplies for 40 students

Photo: 12 March 2025, Dobropillia, eastern Ukraine. Eight-year-old Myroslava stands in front of a bombed-out residential building, one of several damaged in a missile strike on 7 March. That night, she was in bed after drawing a card for her mother when explosions shattered her home. Her mother, Alyona, rushed her to safety behind two walls before the balcony windows blew out from the blast. "I covered my head and ears with my hands because it was so loud and scary," Myroslava recalls. Eleven people were killed, and 50 others, including seven children, were injured in the attack.

Recurring / Regular donations help UNICEF deliver lifesaving support and long-term recovery to children who’ve lost everything.
