EYE HEALTH INSTITUTE INC

The Eye Health Institute shall serve as a non-profit vision clinic providing comprehensive quality eye care to the people of Jamaica. We shall endeavor to provide the highest standard of optometric and ophthalmologic care available to the financially disadvantaged and under-served communities on the island.

The Eye Health Institute is anon-profit organization providing comprehensive eye care to the under served people of Jamaica. Our volunteers have served over9,000people and provided more than4,500pairs of glasses free of charge. The Eye Health Surgical Team has performed more than170procedures, which has restored vision to peopleneedingcataract surgery,pterygium removal, andcorneal transplants. We have conducted annual eye care missions since 2000 and our volunteers have been seeing patients since1996.
