Support Children in Gaza

来自 SAVE THE CHILDREN

After almost two years of conflict, Gaza is the deadliest place on earth to be a child. It’s estimated that 28 children are dying every day from bombs, bullets, hunger and disease.
Amid the constant danger, Save the Children’s extraordinary local staff in Gaza are screening and treating children for malnutrition, delivering healthcare, running temporary schools and safe spaces for children to play, and providing clean water to families. To date, they’ve helped more than 1.5 million people.

Save the Children’s two healthcare centres treat 200-300 people a day, and in 10 mother and baby areas, they support families with breastfeeding and nutrition. With limited supplies, they’re teaching children Arabic, English and maths. And alongside partners, they’re using their unique expertise to help the most vulnerable children stay safe, play and bond with their families.

To get children the support they need, a lasting ceasefire and full access into Gaza is vital. But despite the blockade of aid, Save the Children’s teams and partners are doing everything they can to help children impacted by this war.

How you can help

Donate to Save the Children’s global Emergency Fund, helping children in Gaza and other emergencies to stay safe, healthy and learning.
• £90 could pay for a child in Gaza to attend a safe space to play and learn for a month
• £65 could pay a nurse’s salary for a day, to help children with malnutrition, illness or injury
• £23 could provide safe drinking water to a family for a month

All of these are real costs from Save the Children’s response and represent the most pressing needs in Gaza right now.

Thank you
