Support Americares Response to the California Wildfires

As devastating wildfires scorch Los Angeles, Americares is launching a rapid response to restore access to health services and address the most urgent health needs in affected communities.

The Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires have burned more than 28,000 acres, destroyed homes and businesses, forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate and led to hazardous air quality across the area.

Americares has offered assistance to more than 70 partners across California and are prepared to deliver essential medicines, medical supplies, hygiene kits and first aid items to support communities impacted by the fires.

We know that immediate access to primary health services, including mental health support, along with medicines and medical supplies, will save lives and restore health. Our priority is ensuring that health care providers have the resources they need to continue delivering care in this time of crisis.
