op WOMEN TO CHILDREN FOUNDATION

Project Overview:
Women to Children Foundation (WOCHFO) is seeking funding to construct a permanent center providing holistic care, education, and shelter to vulnerable children in Njombe, Tanzania. Currently, 209 children (113 F & 96 M) live in high-risk environments with inadequate care.

Background:
Njombe Region faces high rates of HIV/AIDS (11.7%) and poverty, leaving many children vulnerable. The proposed center will address these challenges by providing a safe environment, nutritious meals, health monitoring, and vocational training.

Objectives:
1. Construct a secure 6-room center on community-donated land within 18 months.
2. Provide direct care, nutrition, and education support to 100 children annually.
3. Establish a vocational training component for older children (ages 14-18) by 2028.

- Site survey and architectural design
- Procurement and mobilization
- Construction phase
- Furnishing and equipping
- Operationalization

Expected Outcomes:
- 1 permanent center established
- 100 children residing in a safe environment
- Improved school attendance rates
- 40 adolescents equipped with vocational skills

- Site preparation: $5,000
- Building materials: $50,000
- Labor charges: $25,000
- Equipment: $10,000
- Administrative support: $10,000
