In 2024, over 36,000 children and their families were supported directly, in addition to thousands of children through agency partnerships and in local schools.
The Calgary Food Bank supports children facing crisis directly through emergency food hampers and baby hampers which include formula and diapers. In addition, the Calgary Food Bank supports students in every CBE school through the Breakfast Club of Canada, and by providing food to over 50 agencies serving children and their families, like the Children’s Cottage and Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre.
The Calgary Food Bank is receptive of grants to provide Emergency Food Hampers to children and their families facing crisis.
