The Missing Children Search Service receives more than 100 requests of missing children a day. This is not an exaggeration — this is the reality of war. Children of different ages are disappearing, including babies and even whole families.
"Missing Children Search Service" is a non-profit initiative in Ukraine, the project of Ukrainian’s Magnolia TV.
Nova Ukraine supports this initiative since July 2022, and here is what they wrote to us back then asking for help:
“During 20 years of work of Magnolia's "Missing Children Search Service", we have never seen such horror, even in the 1990s which was considered the peak of child homelessness. From the first days of war, we didn't stop our work. "Missing Children Search Service" works to rescue lost and missing children in any situation. We work hard to make sure that even in the most extreme situations, likes bombings or evacuations, people don't lose their children. We have the experience and know-how to help in any situation. During the war in Ukraine, we received more than 2,500 reports of missing children in Ukraine & abroad and will do everything we can to find them.”
In the past 9 months of our joint effort 410 children were found and returned to their families with our help.
