“Seconds. That’s the difference between life and death.”
– Dr Javid Abdelmoneim, MSF International President
Every 15 seconds, a patient is admitted to an MSF emergency room needing urgent treatment.
In many places where MSF works, families simply cannot reach medical care quickly. Either due to conflict, blocked roads, destroyed hospitals, or the cost of transport, people often arrive dangerously late. By the time a mother, father or child reaches an MSF facility, they may already be critically ill.
This delay alone can turn a survivable illness into a deadly one. But over the last two years, global crises driven by war, displacement, climate emergencies and funding cuts have sharply increased the demand for MSF’s emergency response.
Today, more support is needed, not less.
Your gift helps provide medicine, equipment and resources to people in crisis. This means everything needed in an emergency response is ready to deploy in a moment’s notice.
Your support can help ensure MSF can remain agile, prepared and ready to respond when a crisis breaks.
