The Vatrak Hospital Project, led by the Smart Village Movement (SVM), is a landmark healthcare initiative dedicated to transforming rural healthcare access in Gujarat, India.
The project aims to establish a super-specialty hospital offering 100% FREE cardiac and cancer treatment to the people of Gujarat — ensuring that no individual is denied life-saving care due to financial limitations.
The Vatrak region currently lacks any advanced medical facility for these diseases. In just six months, over 1,000 people lost their lives to heart attacks in nearby districts. Many women diagnosed with breast cancer go untreated because of the cost and distance of care. The Vatrak Hospital seeks to change this reality by providing completely free, world-class cardiac and cancer treatment to rural communities.
Through this initiative, Smart Village Movement aims to:

Eliminate the financial and travel burden for rural patients
Build a replicable model of sustainable, technology-enabled rural healthcare
Aligned with SVM’s broader mission of bringing innovation to India’s villages, this hospital will integrate telemedicine, digital diagnostics, and community-based care — empowering rural families with access to quality healthcare for generations to come.
Donation Opportunities – Vatrak Hospital Project
(100% FREE Cardiac and Cancer Treatment for the People of Gujarat)
Your contribution will help build a state-of-the-art super-specialty hospital that will provide completely free cardiac and cancer treatment to the people of Gujarat. Each donor will be recognized with their name displayed at the sponsored area within the hospital, honoring their generosity and commitment to saving lives.
At the top level, donors contributing $2,000,000 can sponsor either the Cardio Building or the Cancer Building, with their names displayed inside the main lobby of each building.
A contribution of $500,000 offers multiple impactful opportunities. Donors at this level may sponsor a Cath Lab (two available), the Non-Invasive Department, the Structural Heart Disease Program, one of twelve specialized Departments, the Vascular Interventional Lab, the Electrophysiology Department, or the Auditorium. Each sponsorship will include donor recognition at the respective location.
For a $250,000 contribution, donors can become a Partner in Service, or sponsor the Temple or one of the Operation Theatres (three available).
A donation of $100,000 allows sponsorship of vital hospital facilities such as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (eighteen available), Cardiac Surgery Room, General Ward, Doctor’s Lounge, Doctor’s Dining Area, Staff Lounge, or Cafeteria, with each area acknowledging the donor’s name.
With a $50,000 donation, contributors can sponsor the Pharmacy or the Pre/Post Operation Room, with appropriate recognition signage.
A $10,000 donation provides the opportunity to sponsor a Single Room (fourteen available), a Double Room, or the Medical Record Room, each carrying a plaque of appreciation for the donor.
Finally, contributions starting from $5,000 and above will be honored with the donor’s name engraved on a Marble Donor Wall inside the hospital — a lasting tribute to their support and compassion.
