Help UNHCR's Emergency Response in Myanmar
di US Association for UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency)On Friday, March 28, Myanmar was shaken to its core by a catastrophic 7.7 magnitude
earthquake. In an instant, entire communities were reduced to rubble. More than 1,700 lives have been lost, and thousands more are injured. Families have been torn apart, left without homes, food, or even the comfort of knowing their loved ones are safe.
For the 14.9 million people affected, survival is a daily struggle. Among them are 1.5 million internally displaced people—already forced from their homes by years of conflict—who now face yet another unimaginable hardship. They have nowhere left to turn.
UNHCR is on the ground, rushing to provide emergency relief—shelter, essential supplies and protection for those most at risk. But the need is overwhelming, and our resources are running out.
This is where you come in.
Your compassion can save lives. Your generosity can provide a family with emergency shelter, a child with warmth and safety, a vulnerable grandparent with the dignity of care. Every moment counts.
Please, give today. Your kindness will help families in Myanmar begin to rebuild their lives in the face of unimaginable loss.
