WCK's Response to the Norte Fire in California (Oct. 2026)
di WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN INCORPORATEDWorld Central Kitchen is on the ground in Orange County, California as the Norte Fire rages, fueled by intense Santa Ana winds. Roughly 13,000 residents are under mandatory evacuation orders after the fire grew rapidly, forcing thousands from their homes. WCK and our local partners are working to serve meals to impacted communities.
WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with the urgency of now to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.
By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to communities impacted by disasters quickly and effectively. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.
With over 880 million meals served globally, WCK continues to bring relief, one plate at a time. Your donation today fuels this mission—helping us reach more people, faster, when they need it most.
