Help Rescued Animals Find a Family, Not a Cage

More Than Just Neighbors: The Four-Legged Community in the Living Lab
At the Living Lab in Georgia, empathy extends to all living beings. True social progress is measured by how we treat the most vulnerable. Beyond scientific research and social inclusion programs, this community provides a permanent, loving home for 39 rescued animals — 7 dogs and 32 cats.

What Makes This Project Unique:
The core of this approach is the complete absence of enclosures or cages. Each animal lives directly within a volunteer’s family, becoming a full-fledged member of the community. This is not a temporary rescue mission; it is a lifelong integration into an environment where every pet has a name, a spot on the sofa, and a vital role in fostering empathy—both within the community and for children with special needs participating in the programs.

The Impact of Your Support:
By supporting these pets, donors empower the team to focus on neuroscience and innovation, knowing that these "four-legged volunteers" are safe, healthy, and cared for. Contributions directly fund:

High-quality nutrition and daily care.

Veterinary services, emergency treatments, and vaccinations.

Maintaining a cage-free, family-oriented environment.

How Your Donation Helps:

$25 — Provides one week of high-quality food and basic care for a therapy dog.

$50 — Covers a full veterinary check-up and essential vaccinations for one rescued animal.

$100 — Supports one month of life in the barrier-free Living Lab, including medical care and family-style housing.

$500 — Ensures one full year of care for a pet integrated into empathy-building programs for children with disabilities.
