H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Support Program

The H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Support Program was created in 1996 in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada to offer free education and support to anyone touched by the loss of a precious baby during pregnancy, or anytime after birth. Meeting others who have endured this difficult journey is crucial to many mourners healing. Our education and support is for individuals and families, including children and teens. Programming includes events, workshops, retreats and counselling. We offer in person support, phone and video support, and presentations and workshops to professionals in the community.

Currently we are raising funds to increase our capacity and expand our reach, and to support our counselling services (no fees for clients) and our online chat line. If you wish to make a Charitable Donation to the H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Support Program, you will receive recognition for your contribution from our team, a public option if you wish, and an Official Tax Receipt for the year you make the donation in. You may designate where you wish your funds to go towards. The categories are as follows:

* counselling for all ages
* resources for our lending library
* program resources for group sessions and workshops
* events such as our Annual Baby Steps Walk to Remember, our Annual Bridge Illumination, our Annual Retreat and our Annual Candlelight Memorial Service

Please note: if you use a credit card to make your donation, the name of our governing charity - BriarPatch Family Life Education Centre - will show up on your statement.
