CARE Canada has an office in Cuba and has been working in the country for many years. Our teams worked around the clock to help vulnerable communities prepare for this devastating storm and now we are responding to those affected by distributing clean drinking water, food assistance and emergency supplies such as tarps for shelter, blankets and hygiene kits to those affected. In the coming weeks, this assistance will move from survival to building back their homes, their livelihoods .. their lives.
