The mission, vision, and values of Snoqualmie Valley Carousel reflect our deep commitment to creating space for all members of our community to feel connected to history, family, nature, and art. Through the conservation and restoration of an antique carousel, we provide artistic, educational, and scientific opportunities that connect community members to history, foster potential, teach restoration, create memories, and honor legacies.
Our organization was created in 2022 as an independent 501c3 to focus on the
restoration and operation of an historic 1927 Dentzel-Muller Grand Amusement
Carousel. Originally from Rocks Springs Park in Chester, West Virginia, all of the
original pieces of the carousel, with the exception of the carousel menagerie animals,
were donated as a gift from Larry and Gail Freels. We had a productive year
