In late 2020, Parkinson Association of Alberta’s board of directors established a new Strategic Planning Committee. In light of the leadership changes at PAA and the impact of Covid-19, this committee determined that the time would be appropriate to examine the existing framework of the organization and refresh with input from both internal and external stakeholders. Through the spring and summer months, the committee, supported by the full Board and Management, set out to hear from our stakeholders and apply what they learned. The refreshed Mission, Vision, Values and Guiding Principles are reflected here. Our sincere thanks goes to all our stakeholders interviewed for their candid and thoughtful input.
