Compeer Peer Supports Programs (Youth, Adults & Veterans)

Compeer provides a creative solution to the deteriorating support systems for mental health consumers by providing them with community volunteers who offer friendships to individuals seeking recovery and mental wellness when faced with concerns like PTSD, Depression, Suicidality and Addictions. These prosocial supports and friendships help to decreases negative symptoms of their illness, re-hospitalization, incarceration, and reduce social isolation. The Compeer friendships provide hope, confidence, meaning, and purpose to individuals striving to regain their lives in the community. No one deserves to be alone or lonely. Positive peer supports break down stigma and help others rise up for recovery!
