Turkish professionals in the technology field in the Seattle area came together and founded the Seattle Giving circle in 2018 under TPF's umbrella. In the beginning, they did not have a specific purpose. After multiple brainstorming sessions, they have decided that they'd like to create a community around philanthropy that makes giving a habit, and defined their motto as “Make Giving a Habit.” Leaders of the Seattle Giving Circle have been working since then to create awareness around giving and increase people’s involvement in philanthropy.
The members of the circle believe that every donation makes a difference. And, by using the advantage of technology companies’ matching gift programs Seattle Giving Circle giving has increased to enormous levels creating a lasting impact in communities in Turkey.
