Help children and youth deported to Guatemala

Colectivo Vida Digna is the first bi-national program for unaccompanied migrant children and youth who are detained in the United States or Mexico and returned to Guatemala. We serve as advocates for young people and their families as they navigate the logistical, emotional, and financial challenges of return. In the process, we identify and build on young people’s skills and talents by devising personalized economic and educational plans.

Vida Digna facilitates safe family reunification of children to their families and communities and creates opportunities for education, vocational training, and political conscientization as youth and their families seek a dignified life.
