Clean Water for Every Child

von Australian Committee For UNICEF Limited

Around the world, 1 in 4 children still grows up without access to safe, reliable water. For millions of families, water is unsafe, distant, or unreliable and the consequences for children are severe.

Without clean water close to home, children are far more likely to:
- Fall ill from preventable waterborne diseases
- Drop out of school to collect water or recover from illness
- Experience malnutrition and stunted growth

Over time, these challenges limit children’s ability to learn, grow and reach their potential, locking families into cycles of poverty that can last generations.

Women and girls are also often disproportionately affected, frequently carrying the responsibility of collecting water over long distances, taking time away from school, work and risking their safety.

Sadly, this water crisis is only deepening with half of the world population predicated to be living in regions facing water scarcity by 2030.

How your donation can help:
- $27 can help provide safe water for 500 children for one month
- $54 can help provide safe water for 1,000 children for one month
- $270 can help provide safe water for 5,000 children for one month
- $438 can help install a water pump, supporting longer-term access to safe water for 400 people

Clean water changes everything. It is one of the most effective ways to protect children’s health, keep them in school and give communities the foundation they need to recover and thrive.

This EOFY help UNICEF to deliver safe water and sanitation to children and families who urgently need it. A simple act, creating lasting change, not just short‑term relief.

Donate now and help save lives.
